When I talked to
Lena today, we came across many experiences we share while being abroad. Lena was telling
me about her exchange time in Peru. She stayed there for nine months with AFS,
an organization which is very helpful if you want to spend time in a foreign
country. I really enjoyed talking to her, listening to her stories. But at the
same time, it made me feel sad, because I haven't seen my host family in Mexico
for more than seven years now. Interviewing Lena showed me how much I miss
my friends and family back in Mexico.
